Musicmakers will be closed on FridayvJanuary 23rd as we stand in solidarity against actions by ICE that threaten our democracy and violate basic human rights within our communities.

Our friends, families, neighbors, and fellow community members here in Minnesota are experiencing serious infringements on their civil and constitutional rights. Many are living in fear—afraid to go about their daily lives, uncertain whether their basic rights will be upheld or respected.

We believe deeply in civic engagement, human dignity, and the fundamental values of justice and freedom. On this day, we stand with our brothers and sisters in solidarity, calling attention to the harm being done and affirming our commitment to a society where everyone’s rights are protected.

Our plans are all full-size, scale drawings. We have successfully built all of these instruments ourselves so we know these plans work. The plans provide all of the information you need to fashion the wood parts. Once you have made all the parts, use the included assembly instructions to put the instrument together. These are the same assembly instructions we include with our pre-cut kits.

Our assembly instructions are known for their quality and clarity and have helped thousands of people assemble good-sounding, playable instruments.

Jacob just wrapped up a fantastic weekend at the Nordic Harp Meeting in Sweden! The weekend was full of harpists and other folk musicians from the Scandinavian countries. Jacob had a great time seeing all of the traditional instruments and listening to Scandinavian music. He gave a workshop on Lever Harp Maintenance for harpists and performed for the concert given by all the workshop leaders.
