I literally parked in front of this sign at a towing company today. If you showed up to recover your towed car, but haggled in the office for 1 minute too long… the car you arrived in would be towed.

If you weren’t careful, you might show up in the sequel to Groundhog Day… over and over. Y’all come back now, hear?

How many times is a towed car towed, if the car recovering the towed car is towed? The number is… infinite.

This is pretty cool. The back row includes my hardcovers. The front row includes my new softcovers. There is no third row, as my e-books just magically appear on your tablet (well, you know, for $6.99).

My point is that while the back row sells for the reduced price of $19.99, the front row books are the same size, the same words, and just as pretty… for $9.99!

Plus, a miracle for the ages. I ordered those five softcovers last Saturday evening, and Amazon Kindle printed them, shipped them, and got them to my front door by Tuesday noon! Definitely magic.

The Twin Cities Book Festival is insane!

My newest novel has its Minnesota introduction this Saturday at the Twin Cities Book Festival in the Historic Union Depot in St. Paul.

I’ll be on-site, signing all hardcovers personally to each buyer, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and each sale will be discounted from the cover price during this event.

I Took the Money is a funny, charming, exciting, scary, and often mind-numbing description of Leo Scanlan’s heroic efforts to stay alive, in the grips of self-created adversity and discovery. Bullets and pigs fly, things blow up, and the sharks are well fed. But hey, fish gotta eat, too.

All five of my novels will be available and sale priced at the festival. If you’re in the Twin Cities this weekend, ignore the weather. As I’m told, while the weather outside is frightful, inside it’s quite delightful. The Historic Union Depot. This Saturday!

I’m pleased and proud to announce that my latest novel, I Took the Money, was uploaded to Amazon Kindle today in ebook format.

This book has been a long time coming, and is a rollicking action / adventure that I promise you’ll love. The ebook is priced at $6.99, and I’ve lowered the pricing on my four other ebook novels to $6.99 as well.

The hardcover version of I Took the Money is at the printer in Chicago, and is due to ship next Friday. The official introduction of the book will be at the North Dakota Book and Arts Festival, in the University of Jamestown’s Reiland Fine Arts Center on Saturday, September 20th.

The Minnesota introduction will be at the Twin Cities Book Festival in St.Paul’s Union Depot on Saturday, November 8th, where I’m a sponsoring exhibitor.

I Took the Money is an action / adventure, and is a wonderful read. I know, because I took seven word-by-word editing passes, to make every paragraph sing. It’s exciting, funny, and memorable, with characters who will become real to you (especially if you read it seven times!).
