Happy Holidays Everyone! We will be open all week including Christmas Day and Christmas Eve for all your gift giving needs. SALE: Everything is 10% off if you mention this posting. In addition to jewelry, clothing, footwear, household goods, bedding, books, toys, and more, we are now featuring handmade artisan candles, wax melts, and soaps, along with a great imported incense and an incense burner collection. The handmade soaps are various sizes, fragrances, and colors including Oatmeal, Milk & Honey and Cool Fresh Aloe. The handcrafted candles and melts are 100% natural soy wax or a natural soy wax/beeswax blend. We have marbled candles and melts, crystal candles, candles with embeds, plain candles, tea candles, tin candles, and pillar candles. They use lead free cotton or wooden wicks, are clean burning, phthalate free, cruelty free, and sustainable. The artist, my daughter, also takes custom orders (with private labels if you like) for your special event or business. We even have gift bags full of goodies so you can pamper yourself and your loved ones.

Hello Everyone - It has been a while since I have written. Most of you are aware that the thrift store in Stevenson has a heart. A limited-income resident of Stevenson (Denise Johnston) who is on Social Security Disability Income has fallen on some hard times and I am writing this to try and assist her in resolving a financial issue. Her vehicle is beyond her financial ability to drive. Denise's keys have turned up missing so a locksmith is needed and the chip key has to be reprogramed (pricey). The battery needs to be replaced and she needs tabs. She lives a good way up the hill and has back issues that really prevent her from walking. I have calculated the anticipated cost for all of this and it comes to about $700. It is likely her very young grandkids threw her keys out never to be found again. Folks, she is truly a very nice person deserving of assistance. If you are willing the store can serve as a collection point for the funds. Our address is:

I am really hoping I am able to assist Denise in getting the money she so desperately needs. Your generous donations to Denise can be brought to the store. The Gorge Thrift Store wants to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Skamania County and beyond for their very kind and generous donations. Donating locally is incredibly important. Here is why. Skamania County Community Health - Pathways Program sends the Gorge Thrift Store clients in emergent need. Through this local community connection, we have been able to give back locally. The Pathways program really deserves a special shout-out for its tremendous work. One individual in specific was recently flooded out. We were able to provide clothing that she had no money to replace. These stories are abundant. Please continue to give. Your donations mean a lot to the less fortunate in the Columbia River Gorge. All that being said, we need:

We have had requests for everyday carry utility folding knives

Household nick-nacks.

Extending warm holiday wishes to everyone from the Gorge Thrift Store in Stevenson. I hope everyone will be able to spend some well-deserved time with your family and friends during the holiday season. Please think of the store for those holiday gifts for your family, friends, and loved ones. Purchasing your holiday gifts from the thrift store helps to warm the hearts of many beyond just your intended recipient.
With all the uncertainties and cost increases during these trying times remember your local thrift store is always there for you. We are here when your planned gift did not get delivered. We are here for you when you must find a gift at the last minute for that new friend or long-lost loved one. The thrift store is local and always here for the community.
Our store is looking better as we continue to clear out the massive donations from the lockdown period. We continue to need volunteer assistance. Please inquire in person.
We can still use donations of warm winter clothing folks. Let's help those less fortunate. The homeless come into the thrift store all the time. Your generosity will really help those in need. A brief mention or repeat for those who are aware, the Stevenson Gorge Thrift Store actually gives to those in need, including domestic violence, homeless populations, and just those in need needing a warm winter blanket.
Important - January and February rent during the off-tourist season has historically been very problematic for us. Your patronage in the off-tourist season is really needed. Consider that after Christmas is over business drops way off for obvious reasons. Any help and patronage you can provide during this time will be met with a warm friendly smile and greatly appreciated by all. Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone - The leaves are falling, and the weather is turning, yes my friends, it is that time of the year again. The events of the last year and a half have not been kind to many. We are, unfortunately, critically low on many of the necessities for the coming winter. These would be things like warm blankets and winter clothing. Anything you can drop off at this time of the year would be helpful and much appreciated.
The store needs your business in order to make it through these winter months. Please bring your business to us and help your community at the same time so we can continue to help the less fortunate.
We also need someone with a truck to assist in moving merchandise from our storage room to our semi in North Bonneville.
This community is really fantastic ...
