We donate pumpkins, gourds, and ornamental corn to charitable organizations.

We are sad to announce that the heavy rains brought out a nasty fungus that destroyed our entire crop this year.

We know that many growers had a hard season and hope you can find all the pumpkins and gourds you need this year.

Role Description
Point Pumpkin Patch is seeking a part-time flexible farm manager for the season of 2023. You will be involved in all aspects of running the patch from prep to harvest. You will have expert help and instruction; the owner will be involved regularly and as needed.
This role will take the lead in activities for prepping, planting, caring for plants, harvesting, and delivering loads of pumpkins. The role could include some advertising, marketing, and business decisions (if the individual wants to be part of that).
Generally, this will be a part time role averaging 10-20 hours per week EXCEPT during harvest where it will be higher (all of September and usually half of October – depending on the freeze). If the individual wants more hours, there are other farm efforts to be part of (greenhouse management, grounds care, etc.)
This individual will, as necessary, manage additional resources to assist with peak tasks (harvesting being the primary).
NOTE the role will not start any activities until mid-May.

Required
· Drivers License REQUIRED
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reach down, reach up
· Can honestly handle cash
· Experience hooking up, detaching and driving small and medium trailers
· Background check required
· Driving History check required
· References required

Pay
15-20 range per hour W-2 pay with a bonus based on performance and patch performance.
