I wanted to take a moment to thank you all. Without you, Flashback wouldn't have been the vibrant place that it was, where countless stories of core memories took center stage.

Nostalgia is such a powerful thing. For some of us, it's easier to only look to the future, because the past can be too painful and evoke a whirlwind of emotions. But for me and for many of you, our memories are viewed as undeniable experiences that can provide comfort through challenging times. The past made us who we are today.

As a final farewell, let us each share our favorite childhood memories, toy related or not.

For me, riding bikes through the neighborhood with friends was a staple of growing up. The freedom I felt was unparalleled at the time.

The time has come to say goodbye. Thank you all from the bottom of our retro heart. We've laughed, we've cried, and we've longed for the days that were much simpler. But now it's time to flash forward (you like that, Chris?).

We did not make this decision to close lightly. It's been an incredible journey, but ultimately we have to do what's in our best interest in order to put food on the table.

This was not a failure. Our dedicated customers showed that this kind of store filled a niche in the community.

Our last day will be Saturday, May 31st. We will update you on hours and discounts in the coming weeks.

Thank you all again. Very special thanks to Anna K. for catapulting our dream into reality.

Perhaps one of you will be compelled to open your own toy store, or follow your own dream, whatever it may be. Our advice: it is not for the weak, but if you have passion and put in the hard work, you can absolutely do it. Now raise your power swords with us in unison and say it with us, " BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL, I HAVE THE POWER!!!"

We are making changes to the way we manage our inventory. Due to this, we will no longer be accepting trade-ins. All store credit must be used by Saturday, May 17th. We understand how disappointing this will be to many of you who utilized the trade system, and we apologize for this abrupt change. It has been fun to see the variety of vintage items come through our store, and we appreciate all of your contributions.
