Stoked to partner up with a legendary local fly shop and outfitter

It started with a question: “What would it look like to make some custom fly rods that are Fall Line branded and central sands fisheries focused?”

The results… see for yourself! Check them out before they are gone in person at the shop or online at their website.

Last time we did this limited edition drop, the rods didn’t make it to shelves before they sold… so you best be quick if you want to lay your hands on one!

Pickleball brand inspired rod build!

This customer wanted to emulate his favorite pickleball paddle brand with this custom build. The diamond fade wrap came out mint. The handle was all custom made from sea foam and black EVA material.

Possibly my new favorite build 🤔

Went all out for this build! A ground up, design concocted in the Hackett Rods lab. Here are some note worthy features:

- hand turned wood burl epoxy accents
- faded diamond thread work
- braided carbon fiber handle

The list goes on but you get the point… she’s a beaut!!!

So many goodies packet into this custom musky build, let’s break it down:

9ft Extra Heavy Power, Moderate Action

2 Piece - connecting at base of the handle

Pistol Grip - mix of eva and cork, gives excellent leverage for working lures and helps you fish longer without torking your wrist.

Custom Handle - mix of cork and burnt cork inlays.

Thread Wrap - customer wanted the thread to match their boat, so we did that and gave it some flare with a sick diamond fade.

All in all, really liked how this build turned out. Hit me up if you want a one of a kind musky build!

Learning more and more about these South Carolina fisheries!

Had a blast exploring and learning about how to target fish down in these parts! We’ll see ya next year and we’ll be back with a vengeance 🤘🏻

Some takeaways:

- “Spot Tail” are delicious
- Flounder look like aliens… also delicious
- Runnin creeks and clam banks: epic!
