🔥I’m Backkkkkk!!!🔥
It’s been a long time since I’ve last posted and a lot has changed so here I am! Back for the summer and still alive…

So first big announcement is that I have decided to take down my website and scale things back a bit from the business side.
I could give endless reasons why I decided to do this but the biggest is that life should and will always come first.
I love to make things. And not just knives!! I’ve been getting into wood turning, carpentry, leather working, and far too many other things to mention! In the future I don’t see myself having time for work, a family, and running an online business.

So many amazing and exciting things are coming in my future and while I’m so thankful for everyone who’s given me business over the years.
That being said I’m still going to attend local craft fairs, list things on here for sale so stay tuned in for that!

That being said again!!!
I plan to double down on making reels, YouTube videos, and other ways to keep you guys updated on the many projects I have coming down the pipeline!

I’m so excited for the future and I hope you guys all stay tuned!

It’s summertime which means the forge is finally back up and running!!

In the time I’ve been away I recently took up ring making and wood turning so here’s my most recent work with that!

I made this awesome makume gane ring and this cherry twig vase!

I know it’s been a while since y’all have heard from me but I hope y’all haven’t missed me too much!🤣

I can’t wait to see what this Forging Season has in store and I can’t wait to take y’all along with me on this journey!

And there it is… I was on Forged in Fire!

So! I got eliminated! And I had so much fun!

I had an absolutely blast going on the show. Getting to put myself out there and forge along side some other super talented smiths was a blast. And even though I got eliminated this will remain one of the most fun and most confidence boosting experiences despite getting eliminated.

I put my absolute all into my blade and I was able to make a sharp, fully functional, and pretty good looking blade! Not to mention that I was able to make such an absolutely wild looking blade within 5 hours!

Even the judges said after the fact that I’m a great smith and that I should be extremely impressed with how I did! And I really am! I feel super good with how I did! Hearing all these huge names tell you that you’re a great smith feels great!

In the end what bit me in the ass was rushing. I took tons of time to measure the holes for my handle and made sure that everything was lined up good. However when marking the holes on the handle my ruler must’ve slipped and my handle ended up being an inch offset the wrong way.

I didn’t notice till I glued it and went to the grinder and by then I didn’t have enough time to fix it.

The “cracks” in the back of my blade were inclusions caused by me not being very experienced with a forging press. What can I say, I’m a blacksmith😅.

I’m the end I made a good looking blade, that took no damage, that cut like a beast!!!

I’m so proud of how I did and may not be a forged in fire champion but I have so much more confident in my skills as a smith!
