These enchanting new pieces from Nana Thebus Ceramics have just arrived, filled with woodland spirits, leafy faces, acorns, berries, and all sorts of wonderful little details that seem like they’ve wandered straight out of an old forest tale.

Handbuilt in stoneware by artist Nana Thebus in her garden studio in Northwest Washington, each piece combines subtle earthy color and botanical texture with her wonderfully whimsical vision of the natural world. If you’ve shopped with us over the years, you’ve probably seen our handcrafted SERRV International bread warmer baskets. They’ve been one of our most popular gifts for weddings, housewarmings, and anyone who loves to gather around the table.

Now we’ve added lidded bread warmer baskets!

Each basket includes a handcrafted terracotta warming stone that you heat in the oven before placing it in the basket to help keep bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, tortillas, and other baked favorites warm. The new matching lids help hold in the warmth even longer.

We received 30 boxes from UPS and FedEx today alone, and I know there are even more waiting for us at the post office. It’s officially unpacking season, and we can’t wait to get all of these amazing new arrivals out on the sales floor.
