🤍🎗️ BUD STRONG 💪🎗️🤍
It’s hard to put into words what kind of man Bud was—but “a true fighter” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
He fought cancer with everything he had, the same way he lived his life—with toughness, heart, and determination. Long before that battle, he was a boxer, the kind of guy who never backed down. He carried that strength with him every single day.
But beyond the fighter, Bud was something even more special. He was funny, quick-witted, and could make anyone laugh. A true comedian, a handyman who could fix just about anything, and someone you could always count on no matter what.
Some of my favorite memories include the time we met John Wesley Shipp (The Flash) at comic con together—just one of those moments that perfectly captures how fun and genuine he was to be around.
What means the most to me—and what I will carry forever—is the role he played in my kids’ lives. My own father never had the chance to be part of their lives, and that’s something that will always be hard. But Bud stepped in without hesitation and gave them something I never got to have growing up—a grandfather who was there.
Because of him, my kids got to know the love, presence, and guidance of a grandfather. They got memories, laughter, and time with someone who truly cared about them. And I will always be grateful for that. I feel incredibly lucky that they had him… even if it wasn’t for as long as we all wanted.
They were lucky to know one of their grandfathers. And we were all lucky to have Bud in our lives.
He will be greatly missed in all of our lives. The world lost a true fighter, a great man, and someone who brought so much strength, laughter, and love to everyone around him.
We’ll carry you with us always.
