AVE BEAD: 8m Golden faceted “pebbles” with granite ends. Priestly vestments in gold and/or white symbolizes purity, light, glory and joy. Worn during Christmas and Easter, symbolizing the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These colors are also worn during funerals because they symbolize life rather than mourning.
Hold this rosary to the light, it’s like watching sun rays pour through the windows of a cathedral.
PATER BEAD: 12m Filigree metal capped in antiqued bronze symbolizing the strength of our Patron. The red on either side signifies the Precious Blood of Christ and the blood of martyrs.

AVE BEAD: 10m Druzy agate in deep royal purple reminds us that St Joseph was a descendant of the line of King David. The inner crystals of this spectacular bead are like tiny geodes!

PATER BEAD: The flash of light from the capped topaz saucer bead represents the purity and strength of St Joseph who battles for us “in this present darkness”.

We’ve framed the pater’s in red following the custom of the Sicilians, Italians and Poles who wear red to honor St. Joseph on his feast day.

This large rosary of natural coral and 10 mm Bodhi seems as if should be heavy but is surprisingly light in the hand. The 9th of our series of birth stones that come from the ancient 12 tribes of Israel. VIRGO (Virgin) was the first, according to the Hebrew calendar, ending with LEO (Lion of Judah): . Giving God back what is his! The stars were read by the ancient desert people with great hope as the constellations pointed to the coming of the Jewish Messiah. God’s own son, Jesus Christ.The traditional 12 birthstones have origins in Scripture. (12 gemstones worn on the Breast Plate of the HighPriest represent the 12 tribes of Israel. (Ex:28,15-30) and set in the order of their birth as ordered by God himself!

AMERICAN GEM SOCIETY The stones used here represent the ones designated by the American Gem Society in the 1930’s. (the original 12 stones carried vague names, some of which were generic, others named after the place of origin (Turquoise / Turkey) We also note that different interpretations of scripture are not consistent in names and placement.

This collection of 12 star beads was given by the Lord to a Guild member when her husband of 39 years died after a courageous battle with cancer. The sense of power that comes from the reading of the passages in Revelations, gave her a great sense of peace knowing his new joy. It became obvious that this was to be shared with others who may be terminal or are the care givers of those who are, including those who have recently lost a loved one.

FATIMA SERIES: ‘I HOPE IN THEE “

This series of 9 rosaries was inspired by Holy Father. Pope Francis who has consecrated his papacy to Our Lady of Fatima. This consecration gives us all the opportunity to discover more about her visitation to the 3 shepherd children in 1916-17 and how it touches our lives today.

AVE BEADS: Natural lava rock, gemstone grade, matte black, 8 mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 3 to 3-1/2. (We have used these lava beads for years with no problems.)

PATER BEADS: A white lampwork beads is set with 2 hand made rosebuds. Each bead is then set in a amethyst faceted crystal. We have added antiqued filigree caps on each side to complete their beauty.

WHY 2 PATER BEADS? Each of the rosaries in this series shares two hand made Pater beads instead of just one. (And I am going to make mine with 3!) We find it very beneficial as several prayers have been added to the basic rosary over the years, one being the FATIMA DECADE PRAYER which comes just before the announcement of the next mystery and the OUR FATHER.

You have the options below of either a double Pater pictured or a traditional single Pater.
