Despite what some would have you believe, December 7th, 1941 - the "Day of Infamy" remains one of the worst days in U.S. History. It ranks as the 6th largest U.S. death toll, and an unprovoked attack by an enemy combatant on American soil. If you aren't familiar with the devastation & magnitude of this day, I suggest you do some research. This was a declaration of war. Even comparing the January 6th events to this tragic day, brings disgrace to the 2,403 souls lost that day - both civilians & military.
May we NEVER forget the atrocities of that day, and stand fast on the watch, to prevent future attacks, such as this.
To those souls lost that day, and to the men & women that endured and fought through the battle - we remember you on this day, and thank you for your service & sacrifice!
Gone, but Never Forgotten.
