☀️🌡️ It’s so hot outside today that my car’s steering wheel just applied for workers' compensation.

You know it's a scorcher when stepping outside feels like opening the oven to check on a pizza. 🍕

Luckily, there’s one hero that never lets us down: SHAVED ICE! 🍧❄️

Nothing says "I survived the Georgia heat" quite like walking around with a giant cup of fluffy, ice-cold goodness dripping down your hand while pretending you meant for that to happen. 😂

Today we pause for something deeper than celebration. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is a day dedicated to the reminder that the life we get to enjoy, the laughter, the freedom, the simple moments with family and friends, came at a cost paid by heroes that we have never met who paid the ultimate price for this country.

They gave their tomorrows so we could live our todays.

Because of them, we get to experience days filled with sunshine, the joy of being together, and the freedom to chase dreams, build memories, and enjoy the little things that make life incredibly meaningful. It’s easy to get caught up in the pace of life, but today calls us to slow down and remember the sacrifice behind it all.

These brave men and women didn’t just serve - they stood for something bigger than themselves. They stood for hope, for freedom, and for a future they will never see, but believed we deserved that future and safety.

So today, as we gather with loved ones, as we laugh, reflect, and even enjoy the sweetness of a simple moment, we do so with gratitude in our hearts.

We remember.
We honor.
We are thankful.

May we live lives worthy of their sacrifice - full of kindness, purpose, and appreciation for the freedoms we often take for granted on a daily basis.
