Attention Customers!!! My good friend Walt Strickland is having his final estate sale this week!! Many of you know Walt from his many years of handling estate sales here in Bulloch County. He and his late wife Lavinia have been collecting for over 50 years!! This is an amazing collection and the prices are fantastic!!

Heirloom has officially closed!!
I would like to thank all of my customers for all their continued support over the last 10 1/2 years and for making the store clearance sale such a success!!!
I will be having one last clearance sale of the remaining items and store displays closer to the end of the month. Currently I’m not sure what days that will be but I will make a post as soon as I’ve decided.

Attention Customers!!!
After almost 11 years in business I have decided to close Heirloom. I would like to thank all my customers for their continued support over the years. This decision comes after 3 months of deliberation on what the nation’s economy was going to do, how high energy prices were going to rise and what I myself wanted to do. In the end I decided that I would rather pursue what I really enjoy doing which is furniture repair, restoration and upholstery (all of which I can do from my workshop at home). I will be available to do repair work and custom upholstery after I have finished closing up the store (sometime in July).
With that said, I will be having a STOREWIDE CLEARANCE SALE starting Tuesday June 7th at 10am. I will be marking furniture at cost and all small items (pictures, china, glassware, lamps and etc) 50% off!!!

Also just arrived!! Large early American empire 4 drawer cherry chest. This is a beautiful piece and I especially like the early ornate stamped brass k***s!! I think this piece would work well in a dining room as well as bedroom!!

Sorry everyone but I only have pictures of 2 new arrivals tonight because getting these 2 pieces ready has taken most of my time. I will try to post more pictures tomorrow.
New this week!!! Beautiful turn of the century serpentine front oak 4 drawer dresser with mirror. I think the mirror frame and stand on this piece are exceptionally pretty!!

I forgot to post this the other night!!
I’ve had so many people asking me if I would sell the Easter eggs I made a few years ago I decided I would relent and sell them. To make things easier they are all priced at $5 each regardless of the size or if they are made from quilts or regular fabric. I cannot hold these, they are on a first come first serve basis!!

Last picture of the night and my favorite piece this week!!! Stunning American empire mahogany dressing table and stool. This picture doesn’t do this piece justice!! While working on this piece I discovered that under the bottom drawer one of the previous owners had written their name and address. This piece once belonged to Ashby and Emily Farrow and came out of the Williams Gibbes house at 64 South Battery St Charleston.
Price $425. Sorry everyone but this stunning piece has sold.

I love this set!!! Victorian Austrian porcelain large berry bowl with 10 matching individual berry bowls circa 1890. I can’t believe this many of the individual bowls have survived for over 130 years!! Price $45 SORRY, NO HOLDS!!

Primitive style oak ladder back chairs with twisted corn husk seats. These chair seats were done probably 30 years ago by Mrs Julia Mae Roberts of Nevils. She was definitely a master of this lost art!!

Also just arrived!! I’ve actually had this in the back for several years and finally got around to replacing the frame (the original was too damaged to save). Pastel portrait of Confederate veteran signed and dated 1904. The artist did an amazing job with this portrait, the detail to the face is incredible!! Unfortunately I cannot remember this person’s name but he was from Beech Island Sc and was either a captain or colonel.
Price $69. Sorry everyone but this portrait has sold.
