Dixie Delight will be participating in the city wide yard sale. Several vendors will be having discounts throughout the store.

One of the things that makes a small town special is neighbors helping neighbors, and this upcoming Star City Wide Yard Sale is shaping up to be exactly that!

A big thank you goes out to Caitlin Morrison and everyone helping organize this community event. Coordinating locations, answering questions, and keeping track of participants takes a lot of work, and we appreciate those who are investing their time to make this a success.

Then this event is for you!

The list of participating locations is already growing, but there’s still plenty of time to join. The more sales we have, the more shoppers we’ll attract from around the area, making this a win for everyone involved.

We feel it's important to address a few rumors and misconceptions that have been circulating.

First, regarding claims that people have been "blocked" for speaking negatively about our business: individuals have not been blocked. In some cases, followers have simply been removed from our page. We welcome constructive feedback, but we also reserve the right to manage our social media community appropriately.

Second, there have been comments suggesting that consignors have dropped off items and never been paid. We currently have several checks at the shop that have not been picked up, with some dating back to February. It is the consignor's responsibility to check on their account and collect their payment. Checks that remain unclaimed for more than 90 days are voided in accordance with our policy.

Lastly, we'd like to address concerns about payout amounts. Dixie Delight is a consignment boutique, not a brand-name retail store. Items are priced as secondhand merchandise to keep them affordable for our customers while still providing consignors an opportunity to earn money from items they no longer use. Consignment payouts are based on the selling price of the item, not its original retail value.

We work hard to provide a fair and welcoming shopping and consigning experience for everyone. If you ever have questions about your account, items, or payments, please contact us directly. We are always happy to help clarify any concerns.
