Friday 8/28 ADULT BOOK FAIR 6-8 pm collab with Sweet Luncheonette (this will be so much nostalgic fun!)

Ok last post tonight! Many have asked this week for me to go ahead and post the September activities calendar and I will be tomorrow. Finalizing some authors events and outside groups to ensure the best timing for turnout. Rest assured there will be BINGO again (revised), crafts, book clubs, book swaps, and more. Some surprises await too. We still have to finish this month too with the Crow Event, mini bookshelves event, book clubs, and the ADULT BOOK FAIR event we are doing with Sweet Luncheonette. Keep your eyes on the posts. 👀😁😎

Save the date!! We are launching the first of our visiting author events September 10th at 430 pm. We are very excited to welcome Julia McDermott to the store for a Q&A session as she discusses her new thriller, The Barbie Killer. The event is free, but I would ask that you RSVP please so that we can accommodate. Books will be sold in advance or on the day of the event, and Julia would love to sign them for you.

Just a post to end an incredible week at One More Chapter Bookseller. Anyone who thinks indie booksellers are a thing of the past are mistaken. Some might think last weekend’s sales and success were because of it being a Grand Opening, and truthfully I did not expect a crazy week after the weekend. Every single day this week YOU showed up! Every single day was better and busier than the previous day. I am humbled and emotional tonight. I added 400 new customers to my customer base since August 1st and for the personal goals I have set for myself, I have almost met in two weeks what I wanted for a month. I don’t say this to brag; I say it in gratitude for your belief and support. Thank you so much! I appreciate you all so much. ❤️

This afternoon we shift gears for the Summerween event from 2-4 pm! Bring the kiddos down to the truck or treating in the AC! Crafts, cookies, storytime, and sorta spooky fun!!
