🤘 House Hide & Hammer
Create two custom leather keychains on June 18 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. A fun, low-cost activity where you can personalize a handmade gift for Dad.

🧢 House Hattingham
Embroider Your Own Cap with half-hour appointment slots starting at 10:00 AM on June 20th. Create a custom hat with names, sayings, or designs Dad will actually wear.

🚀 House Laserfang
Design and laser-cut three custom keychains on June 27 from 3:00–5:00 PM. Bring your own design or choose one online and turn it into a personalized keepsake. What dad doesn’t love lasers?

Build a custom wooden picture frame on June 27 from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. A beginner-friendly woodworking project that’s perfect for displaying a favorite family photo.

Summertime at MADE Makerspace

There's a lot happening at MADE this month, from a packed Third Friday to summer classes perfect for Father's Day, plus the launch of a brand new community art project we're proud to share. Here's everything going on:

This Third Friday: Food, Art, Music & a Little Friendly Competition

Join us this Third Friday - from 6 to 9pm at MADE Makerspace for an evening of making, music, and community. Here's what's happening:

Potluck (with free hot dogs!) - Bring a store bought dish and N/A drinks to share. And thanks to our partnership with Girl Gone Wieners, we'll be giving out one free hot dog per person until we run out, so come hungry and come early.

The Block Party Is Back

The Delmar Maker Disctrict Block Party for July’s Third Friday is about welcoming community, supporting local craft, and encouraging makers of all ages. We’re offering two ways for local artists to get involved!

Introducing Upward Spiral

Upward Spiral is a community built public art project that will create 26 Story Boxes covered in thousands of handmade tiles, honoring the 26 St. Louis neighborhoods impacted by the 2025 tornado. Through tile making workshops and community build days, residents come together to transform stories of loss into symbols of resilience, creativity, and connection.

This project matters because recovery is about more than rebuilding structures. It's about rebuilding community, creating spaces for healing, and reminding people that they are not alone.

Looking for a unique Father’s Day gift or a fun way to spend your Thursday morning? Join us for Art Studio this Thursday from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM in the Front Room!

Instructor Jason Power will introduce you to the basics of leatherworking as you create two custom leather keychains. You’ll learn how to stamp names, initials, words, or simple designs into leather and leave with handmade gifts that are both practical and personal.

No experience is necessary, and all supplies are included. Whether you’re making a Father’s Day gift, creating something for yourself, or just looking to try a new skill, this is a great opportunity to get creative in a relaxed environment.

Hello, hello!

We’re MADE Makerspace, and we want you to know that we have an AMAZING event coming up on Friday, June 19th from 6:00–9:00 PM!

We’re thrilled to welcome the incredible Leah Rose, who will be performing live and sharing her amazing musical talents throughout the evening.

We’ll also be hosting a community potluck, so bring a store-bought dish to share and enjoy great food with great people. And to make the evening even better, we’ll be giving away one FREE hot dog to every attendee while supplies last, so make sure to arrive right at 6:00 PM before they’re gone!

Plus, Rainbow Fit Club will be leading a fun craft activity, we’ll have a Paint Your Partner Contest (with a special 3D-printed surprise for the winner!), and you’ll have the chance to contribute to our free community mural, Faces of STL, where you can draw your own portrait and become part of a community art project.

MADE is proud to announce the new MADE COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP. 10 awardees will receive a full year of membership starting this January, but to celebrate this announcement we are awarding ONE applicant the scholarship early starting this July!

Today at our MADE Together series with .stl young makers got the chance to meet one of our talented woodshop instructors, Christian! 🔨✨

Christian guided kiddos through the process of making their own chopsticks while sharing what it’s like to work in woodworking and why creating with your hands can be so much fun. From learning new skills to gaining confidence with tools, it was incredible to watch curiosity turn into creativity.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to partner with .stl and to help inspire the next generation of makers. 💙
