🔹 Pour your own luxurious shea butter soap
🔹 Customize with scents 🌿, colors 🎨, and skin-safe ingredients

🦁🌿🐘 What a beautiful day at the Nature & Nurture Festival! 🐢🦋🦒

This weekend, MADE Makerspace joined families from across St. Louis at the to create zoo-themed community tiles for ✨Upward Spiral✨ — our public art project honoring the 26 neighborhoods impacted by the 2025 tornado. 💚🎨

From jungle animals to colorful creatures and wild imaginations, the community helped turn creativity into connection… one tile at a time. 🐅🦜🖌️

A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at the Saint Louis Zoo for hosting such a meaningful event and to the Saint Louis Mental Health Board for inviting us to be part of this incredible day centered around children’s mental health, nature, belonging, and community healing. 🌱🧠💛

We loved seeing families create together in such a joyful space. 🦓🐾✨

What if creativity is not a luxury… but a form of care? ✨

This week, Rachel King spoke at about the connection between creativity and mental health — and how hands-on creative practices can help alleviate burnout, exhaustion, overwhelm, and doom scrolling.

Painting. Sculpting. Woodworking. Sewing. Making something with your hands gives your brain a chance to slow down and reconnect. Creativity is not only restorative, but can also help people rediscover purpose, confidence, and meaning.

If this conversation resonates with you, we invite you to join us next week for Built to Belong — an evening centered around mental health, community, and belonging. We’ll be joined by mental health specialists discussing how we create deeper connection in a world that can often feel isolating.

We’re so excited to officially partner with this month and welcome them into our Front Room at MADE Makerspace 🌈✨

This Friday, join us for our Q***r & Craft session — an evening to create, connect, and make alongside community. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just want a cozy creative night out, we would love to have you.

Later this month, we’ll also be hosting our Make & Mingle event for LGBTQIA+ individuals ages 50+ — a welcoming space to chat, build community, and make something together.
