Just finished this little project. I put my name on it but really its a cheap fender starcaster. I upgraded it in the way I typically do with a cool nitro relic paint job along with the hardware. A complete stainless steel fret job was done along with a bone nut. The electronics and everything is is still the cheap stuff that came with it but would make a really sweet starter guitar or backup guitar that has some mojo. This is the first step of many when I relic a guitar. It takes a long time and is super messy, it is one of the reasons a relic job takes longer and is a little costly. This is the only way to get the "real" look, start from bare wood.
