Yes, Spring is here! I have not made silk flowers in a long time and now I am creating a hat that will have these beautiful colors adorn it. Spring is rebirth, new beginnings and that is what my life is mirroring. I have not posted in forever so I can heal and decide my path forward. Slowly working on this floral process is helping me slow down and remember what my foundation was and is. Healing the cracks and appreciating the creativity, art, and memories that have bloomed from those cracks. Just like this image, it is only the beginning.

I have been “away” from designing for the business. I took time to really consider what I wanted and to listen to my own voice. I am excited to be a part of event this Sunday August 3 from 12pm-4pm . I’m going to have some jewelry, travel bags, clutches and these trinket trays that I am putting the finishing touches on. My clothing designs will be launching soon!!! But for now just giving a little taste of what’s to come.

So excited about my new toilet paper holder. Kaleesi could care less. But it looks great with my little bathroom remodel that I’m working on. Almost finished.

I have taken a break from the business to re-group and gain new perspective. I needed to find inspiration and my voice. What do I truly want and where do I see this business going? Throughout this process, I took time to heal and in doing so I began to purge the unnecessary. Now I am working on my home throughout this healing process creating a creative, calming space that feels like home for my daughter and I. I am ready to get back to designing and making clothes and blending upcycling into my process. I am finding the balance. Thank you to those who have supported me with respect and grace throughout this process.

The little vid below is the beginning of my bathroom transformation. Creating all of this with my own 2 hands has brought me so much joy and has truly fed my soul.
