Friendly reminder: Beautiful is not a size!

I had such a fun time connecting with everyone at Community Clothing Swap today!

I took body measurements and we chatted how arbitrary clothing sizes really are 🙃

It’s all about how things fit and make you feel, but knowing your measurements is a great tool to have on hand.

After announcing our Big News of collaborating with to open the first secondhand shop specializing in sizes L-4X in Stl, a friend sent a sweet message and said “So happy for you all (and us)” 💗

This hit me right in the feels. As much as this is such a huge accomplishment for us, opening our doors is really about YOU!

Our space is going to be a fatcentric oasis. A place to come and feel seen, to SHOP IN PERSON (gasp!) and actually try things on. A place where every. single. thing. is curated for larger bodies.

It’s going to be magical and we can’t wait to open our doors and have you come visit.

Ethical Bodies is now accepting donations and consignment clients! Clean out your closet and give your fabulous plus-size pieces a new life! 🛍️

Plus, we’re teaming up with , a local non-profit that holds quarterly Community Clothing Swaps, to ensure every item finds its perfect match. Let’s spread the secondhand love and empower our community together! 💖

♻️ Perennials first swap is Saturday Feb 24th from 10:00-12:00. Link to tickets in bio.
♻️ Because this is a new endeavor and we are kicking things off with our new donation and consignment model, our presence at this first swap will look a bit different.
♻️ This swap the majority of EB “overflow” inventory is in sizes XL-2X. Our goal is to be as size inclusive as possible. We will always be transparent about what we will be bringing.
♻️ Ethical Bodies will be onsite the day of the swap to take body measurements.
♻️ Our goal for all swaps is to spread awareness about the swap and to engage more folks from the plus size community to participate. 😊
