ONLINE BOOKSTORE ORDERS ARE MANDATORY FOR FALL 2021

The bookstore has moved back to Gillespie Hall. For your Covid 19 safety and ours, we will ONLY take online book orders.

Go to https://harris.textbooktech.com/ to order your books. If you have any difficulties, call the bookstore.

Click on “Textbooks” & “Look up by Student ID”.
Select “Fall 2021” semester. Your Fall 2021 schedule should populate to select your books.

When your order is ready, you will receive an email at the address used to order. Please allow 24 hours for processing your order.

Come to the Gillespie Hall Game Room to pick up your online book order ASAP starting Monday, August 16.

Pre-ordered books will be picked up in the game room until September 15.

Out of Town (OOT) - over an hour drive from the STL City campus)
Your books will be mailed USPS 2 Day Priority mail.

As of Thursday, May 20 all book rentals and returns will be from the Gillespie Bookstore for the rest of the summer semester.

The Harris Stowe Bookstore is hiring for Summer and Fall 2021.

Duties include: customer service, inventory, handling transactions for books, (& food and merchandise in the Gillespie store), shipping and receiving, data entry and reporting and keeping our space clean, appealing and a great representation of the college.

Our ideal employee works well with a team, demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills, is punctual, trustworthy and reliable. Must have basic computer skills. Cashier or service industry experience preferred.

Hours fluctuate depending on the workload. During the beginning and end of the semester, work can be up to 40 hours a week. We can guarantee 16 hours a week during slow times. We accommodate school schedules and personal commitments as a team.

We pay the St. Louis City minimum wage ($10.30 hr). This job is not a part of the work study program.
