2024 was hard in many ways but one thing stands out as my #1 highlight: seeing in concert.

I had never gone to a concert before this one. For various reasons, but mostly because loud and crowded environments don’t exactly call to me. However, I had to buy tickets the moment I found out about this tour. I have listened to Aurora almost every single day since I first came across a video of her performing in a forest (look up AURORA HAIK on yt to see clips or the whole thing because wow it’s all so good). It’s not JUST that the sound of her music “scratches that itch” for me, but her writing makes me feel more seen than literally anything else I’ve ever listened to in my 36 years of life. I found myself in her music. I also found hope, inspiration, and whimsy.

I’ve really enjoyed visiting the same plants during the different seasons. I’ve witnessed many stages of this wild hydrangea plant and it has been a treat.
