Here is a project that we just finished up in Brentwood. It is a 2-1/4 red oak that was originally Natural(no stain) that we stripped and restained Golden Brown, and finished it with 2 coats of Oil base urethane. It turn out gorgeous.

So here is a project that we just finished up. We tore out the carpet in the master bedroom and installed new oak flooring. We refinished the rest of the areas that was a faded color and had sun faded areas from area rugs. *Reminder to avoid sun fading, pull your rugs every 3-6 months(have them cleaned) and leave them out for 2-4weeks that way the floors get regular lighting.* The client pick Antique Brown and we finished with 2 coats of Oild base Satin urethane. It turned out extremely beautiful!

Here is a 2-1/4 red oak for that we refinished in the Afftin area. It was pretty worn out. We stripped it down to bare wood and the client choose to do no stain, so we finish the project with 3 coats of Oil base urethane.

This Shrewsbury residence boasts 2-1/4 red oak flooring that had become worn and neglected, with evidence of previous blue paint. Following a meticulous stripping process, we applied a coffee brown stain and two coats of oil-based urethane, yielding an extremely satisfactory finish.

Here is a 2-1/4 Red oak floor that we refinished. The floors were worn and had some stains in serveral areas that would not sand out. So we replace the wood in those areas, sanded it, stained it Golden Oak(clients choice) and sealed it with 2 coats of Oil base urethane.

So this was a tough one. The client had a LVP floating floor install a year and a half ago by another company. The company was informed that when the house was built that the subfloor was on 2ft centers so there was some waves and movement with the floor. They were also informed that his wife was in a wheel chair. They still recommended a LVP floating floor.
Once we were called and after discussion with the client, and the manufacturer, we decided that a full glued down floor was a much better option of them. So we tore out the old floor, added some underlayment to the hearth room to match the level of the kitchen and entryway, and glue installed the new LVP down. Now they will not have to worry about the floor moving, shifting or separating.
This project shows that just because you cover it with something new, doesn't mean it will last. LVP has a very small tongue and groove which does not allow a lot of deflection ratios(3/16 of an inch over 8 to 10 feet), most manufacturers)across your floor. The chances that your sub floor is perfectly level is less than 1%. Do your research and/or talk with a professional before you decide on what is best for your home.

Here is the stairs and 1st floor. We removed the carpet and old maple flooring and installed prefinished stained red oak to make all the flooring consistent. The stairs were red oak retread stairs, that we stained to match and sealled with 3 coats of water base urethane. The project turned out absolutely beautiful.
