Alex Kaufman, winner of the 2022 FCWS Concerto Competition, will perform the virtuosic "Rhapsody for Alto Saxophone", written by Belgium composer Andre Waignein for the Fifth International Adolphe Sax Competition in 2010. The competition was held in Dinant, Belgium, birthplace of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone.

🎶 Meet the newest (full-time!) face in our repair shop 🎶

We’re excited to officially introduce Sean Hedengren as our full-time Band Instrument Repair Technician!

Sean is a graduate of the University of North Florida, where he earned a degree in Saxophone Performance, and he’s also completed the Red Wing Band Instrument Repair Program, so your instruments are in very capable hands.

With a strong performance background and professional repair training, Sean brings both musical insight and technical precision to every instrument he works on. We’re thrilled to have his talent, knowledge, and attention to detail here full time.
