We're open today 10-4 so come on by as you're out and about. In honor of my sweet foster boy Lamello from Mitchell County Animal Rescue, Inc-North Carolina I thought I would do a mini fund raiser/pumpkin ornament contest.

So drop by and pick up a fun pumpkin cut out (while supplies last) to decorate by Oct 31st. Just $5 and I will donate half of all sales to the rescue. Bring your creatively decorated pumpkins back so we can take a picture and you will get a treat bag. Winners chosen in three categories: 11 and under, 12-18, and over 18. Prizes include cache kits and in-shop cache bucks.!

I know it was quiet at The Crafty Cache this past weekend but two major life events happened which affected my store hours. First, I had both kids and their families come at the same time for a rare weekend visit and wanted to optimize family time!

Second, I have been fostering a dog that I met through Mitchell County Animal Rescue, Inc-North Carolina at the Sassy Gal Burnsville & Spruce Pine ribbon cutting last week next door to my shop. As you might imagine - it was wild, hectic, and exhausting but we all enjoyed being together.

Lamello is a gorgeous, sweet, and big 3 year old gent who loves car rides, going for long walks, and spending as much time as possible outside. He will need more training in leash manners, basic commands and to learn to love his crate. BUT, he would be a wonderful addition to an active family!

Look for the "Open" flag but here are my planned hours this week:

Thursday, Oct 15: 12-4
Friday, Oct 16: 10-4
Saturday, Oct 17: 10-4
