This is the "Best" bent Derailleur Hanger we've seen in a while. 🙃

(DISCLAIMER: This bike only fell over on its side and caused this damage. No wreck!)

As you can see in the photos we have our Derailleur Hanger Alignment Tool in green secured to the Derailleur Hanger in yellow. This Tool uses the Rear Wheel to help us confirm proper alignment.

In the second photo you can see how far out of alignment the Derailleur Hanger is because of the gap it has from the Rim of the Wheel. 😅

We were able to straighten and align this Hanger back into position with good ole muscle power and a delicate touch. 😉

If your rear shifting is all over the place, shifting poorly or hard, you too could have a bent Derailleur Hanger. 😬
