Susan and I have been working for three days. Creating a hybrid, MID size Cross body backpack from two sewsweetness patterns. The result is one that has a lot of features of the “Heartlands”backpack and a little bit of the “Pierce Cross body backpack”.We also made a larger version of the pierce. Cross body backpack as it is, typically the smallest size of the backpacks in the picture. What size do you think is the perfect size to carry?

I thought I’d take a quick video of our pre-set up. I may send out another one later as there are several items that I did not catch on this first video, but it is to tantalize you to come tomorrow and bring a friend. The weather is going to be great so you can shop for your spring bag before Mother’s Day for yourself or for a friend. We will have light refreshments. This is a “Lucy” out of some pretty fabric I got at Merrily We Quilt Along. It will be going into our Bagtique at Mary Jane’s house. It is a popular style with lots of pockets inside and out. Finished size is approximately 12”w x 10”h x 4.25”d.
