One hive is going strong, however, the second is now Queenless and dwindling. The workers continue to collect pollen but there are no new eggs being laid to grow the colony. We have a new queen coming tonight with a couple of supplemental frames with brood and a partial swarm to help get them caught up and growing again.

Lots of good bee activity! They have been liking these warmer days and early flowering. More pictures to come once I can get my phone reconnected to the computer. The garden is coming along. Ashley has been waiting to plant too much for fear of possible frost with the cool nights, but I think we're gonna take a chance and start planting more this week. She put in a marigold border around the first section of garden yesterday and it looks great! The radishes and onions we have been harvesting for the last 2 weeks have been really good. A reminder of how nice it is to eat from your own garden.
