A little over 13 years ago this guy, Kingston McLovin, came into our lives and I instantly fell in love. I remember telling Kyle exactly what kind of dog I wanted and he found him in a newspaper. We drove to Marshfield and picked him out of 8 other puppies. Since the day I met him, I knew he would be my best friend. I knew he would make our lives better each and every day. Today, we have to say goodbye forever to Kingston and my heart could not be more broken. He is truly the best dog and one of the great loves of my life. Our house will never be the same and I know I will never find another pup that will be like Kingston. He is truly one of a kind.
Kingston has been my best friend, travel and snuggle buddy and overall the best dog in the world since January 2008. He was the first dog I owned and he was my sidekick from the start. He has been a perfect member of our family. He has loved every member of our crew from beginning to end (even including Atlas). He truly has changed the way I love and view animals and I will never ever forget our time together or the places we have gone. Anyone who has met Kingston will agree that he was the sweetest dog and has made so many people smile over the years. Kingston would be the first one at the door to greet you and the first one to lick away your tears when you were sad. He for so long was my protector. He truly would have never let anything happen to any of us.
If you have an animal, please hold them close today and tell them how much you love them because they won’t always be around. You never know when you will have to wake up one day and make the decision to say goodbye. To give them that last hug and kiss. To tell them you love them one last time.
Kingston, I hope Copper and Roscoe are there to greet you. I hope the three of you will be running around having the best time! Remember.. don’t tell them what I said! Love you Kingston, always and forever!
