Happy Tuesday from Shawn’s Sewing Center!

It’s been a busy start to the week! Our Laura Jacket ladies were back for Class #2, and just look at these jackets coming together. So many different fabric choices and personalities in one pattern—we love seeing them finished!

And while they’ve been sewing, Fall has started sneaking into the shop! New fabrics are arriving with those warm golds, rusty oranges, rich browns and cozy blues that make us ready for some fall sewing.

Classes, new fabric and lots of creativity happening around here… just the way we like it!

Happy Saturday ✨✨The wait is over… our first Aveneer Upgrade Kits are here!

We have FOUR kits ready to go, so it was time to find out who gets theirs first!

We decided to make it fair—and a little more fun—by doing a random drawing from everyone who pre-purchased their upgrade at our Tech Party.

Watch the video to see if YOUR name was one of the first four drawn!

Don’t worry if you weren’t picked this round—more kits are on the way, and we’ll keep drawing as they arrive.

We blinked… and it’s already Wednesday! ✨

It’s been a busy week at Shawn’s Sewing Center with classes in full swing, beautiful new fabrics arriving, we curated a small collection of Minki Kim’s “Cotton Nook” Fabrics and backpack Panels and they are beautiful ✨

Our Brother BX1e model is here, and we’ve already sent our first BX1e home with its new owner. 🎉

✨ Exciting News… Sew Crafty Registration is NOW OPEN! ✨

Our Sew Crafty Youth Program has grown, and we couldn’t be more excited to share everything we have planned!

This season we’re offering:

🧵 Beginning Sewing – The perfect first step for new sewists.

🌟 Sew Crafty Kids (Ages 8–11) – Fun sewing projects that build skills, creativity, and confidence.

✂️ Sew Crafty Teens (Ages 12–16) – More advanced projects and techniques for growing makers.

🎨 Sew Crafty After School Club – A creative club featuring crafts, art, seasonal projects, and plenty of hands-on fun!

❤️ Stitch Together – A special adult-and-child tote bag class where you can create memories while sewing side by side.

To give families more flexibility, our Sew Crafty Kids and Sew Crafty Teens classes will now be offered on two different dates each month. Simply choose the date that works best for your schedule—the project and lesson will be the same in both sessions.

Happy Monday! ✨🧵

There’s something extra inspiring about walking into the classroom on a Monday morning and seeing creativity already in full swing!

Our Laura Jacket Class is underway, and just look at these incredible patchwork combinations. Every jacket is completely unique, proving that fabric scraps really can become something spectacular. From bold prints to beautiful color palettes, we can’t wait to see these wearable works of art come together.
