And the award for quickest restoration goes to.... Me.

Additionally, the record for longest procrastination also goes to.... Me.

This lamp has been in a dark corner sitting neglected since we opened back in 2022.

As some.of.you might know, I (Jordan), have tinkered with stereos for many years now. Part of that involved restoring the clear dust covers of turntables. A quick 3-steo product called Novus is the standard for bringing cloudy, scratchy, dull acrylic and plastic back to glory.

Anyways, this Italian made marble based magazine/table standing lamp is sweeeeeeet! I even have a really cool chrome table lamp hanging around that would be a great companion! And if the shade ain't your bag, we have others.

Hey folks!
I didn't have a ton of time today so I picked a seemingly small project for the lamp of the week.
Upon inspection, I was delighted to find that the electrical components were in great shape and don't really need any attention!
On the other side of that, the covered wagon portion needs to be hand sewn together...... So..... You win some you lose some. I'm halfway done with stringin' her together.
Anyways, pretty unique piece!

Welcome to another edition of "Lamp of the Week", brought to you by ReMain!

This one has been sad and lonely in the corner of the workshop for too long. The plastic pieces that held the arms all broke... Bad design. They have been replaced with metal and they won't fail again!

This is basically some version of a Robert Sonneman Triennale Orbiter lamp. I can't identify it exactly, but most are chrome instead of white, so that's special. It has the markings of being many years old, instead of a newer reproduction. This is an iconic piece, and believe it or not, it's priced to sell, as many similar lamps hang out in the four digit neighborhood. But hey, it's an investment in art, and a great way to light up a room too!

If you've ever peeked your head into the back shop, you know that we have far too many lamps in need of attention. That's why I, Jordan Evon, have introduced the" lamp a week" initiative (ish, give or take a week, as time allows).

I had a whole list of things to do today, but alas, only this awesome wood and brass three head tension pole lamp has been crossed off of it.
And that's probably for the best because it's super duper cool, and it just happens to have a darling little matching table lamp partner! They will be sold as a set, because they belong together, even though they came from different places.

Tune in next week! (Probably).
