Starting something new is not easy. Learning new skills is not easy. Putting yourself out there for judgment is not easy. Fighting for your family is not easy.

Selling arrangements for the first time was scary. But I did it! Are there better arrangements out there? Sure. Are there better farms out there. Of course! There’s always going to be someone better. That does not mean there isn’t a place for you or me to fit into the scene.

Thank you so much for supporting our family. The purchases literally equal a tank of gas or food for the dogs.

Can I be honest with you? Things have not gone to plan. I have so many ideas on what I want this brand to be. I’ve hit wall after wall on bringing in the next line of goods or sharing from our micro farm.

I was so excited to share flowers and produce this season. Shoot, we had eggs coming out our ears! Thousands of plant were damaged by hail, wind, or have rotted thanks to the heavy rains. A predator took out a good number of our flock as well.
Sure the garden is still beautiful and we have some hens still producing, yet there has been so much setback. It can be a bit heavy.

It is really a stark reminder that I am not in control. All I can do is keep taking action but most importantly, pray. There is so much power in praying to the one true God.

This morning I’m slowing down, seeking God’s counsel and hoping I listen. If you’re feeling a bit lost like me, I pray you sit quietly and seek God. I promise you, it will be well worth your time. If you need prayer, please message me and I will do that very thing for you.
