We’re so excited to welcome back Zeke Peña to read with us from his 2026 Caldecott Honor book, Sundust, this Sunday at our final pop-up + celebration!

The children’s storytime with Zeke will start at 11:30am.

We have some bittersweet news to share, Más Libritos Bookstore will be closing with our last pop-up taking place next month in downtown Springdale. ❤️

We’re eternally grateful for all the love we’ve received throughout this journey and ready to conclude this season as a pop-up, indie bookstore in Northwest Arkansas. Thank you for all the support—visiting us at pop-ups, buying our books, and most importantly, reading alongside us.

We hope you join us for our final pop-up/celebration on Sunday, May 17th at Mano’s on Emma () in downtown Springdale. Stop by, say hello, and enjoy a closing sale on all our books.

In solidarity with Sophy & Juan/En solidaridad con Sophy y Juan

On April 3, 2025, Juan was kidnapped by an ICE officer and eventually sent to a detention center in Louisiana. This happened after attending a USCIS appointment with their immigration attorney present.

After several months at the detention center, Juan was deported to Honduras.

It’s been almost one year since Sophy, Juan’s wife, and her children have seen him. He has not met their 4-month-year-old baby, considering Sophy was pregnant at the time of his deportation.

We are sharing Sophy and Juan’s story with the hope of helping them reach their GoFundMe goal.

The donations will not only help financially support Sophy and their children, but also help fund a passport for their baby and an opportunity for their family to be reunited with Juan in Honduras.

El 3 de abril de 2025, Juan fue secuestrado por un agente de ICE y posteriormente traslado a un centro de detención en Luisiana. Esto occurió después de asistir a una cita con USCIS en compañía de su abogado de inmigración.

Después de varios meses en un centro de detención, Juan fue deportado a Honduras.

Ha pasado casi un año desde que Sophy, su esposa, y sus hijos vieron a Juan por última vez. Él aún no ha conocido a su bebé de cuatro meses, ya que Sophy estaba embarazada en el momento de su deportación.

Compartimos la historia de Sophy y Juan con la esperanza de ayudarlos a alcanzar su objetivo a través de su campaña en GoFundMe.

Las donaciones no solo ayudarán a Sophy y a su hijos económicamente, sino que también servirán para financiar el pasaporte de su bebé y brindarles la oportunidad que la familia pueda reecontrarse en Honduras.
