Waste rows VS shadow stitching in needlepoint finishing? What’s the difference and what do you need to do? Get ready for our classes with Julia in November!

Classes are for how to finish your own ornaments, round square, and irregular, a stand up finishing class, and an office hours class where you just come finish your project with Julia and she helps you with tricky bits!

THE AUTUMN NEEDLEPOINT REUNION HAS BEGUN

Hey everyone! Since I’m headed off to market once again, I thought I’d re-introduce myself! I’m Jamie, owner of Storyteller’s Thread. What started off as someone asking me to paint needlepoint canvases (and my response being, “What’s needlepoint?”) has turned into a special LNS where fantasy, books, and Victorian whimsey somehow come together!

Current favorites:
🍹Drink : always a margarita, I’m a Texas girl!
🎧Audiobook to stitch to : anything in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman, narrated by Jeff Hays (stay tuned, there may be DCC canvases coming… 😉)
🪡 Stitch project : currently a handsome vampire by ✨ Spellbound Stitchery ✨

But my pride and joy canvas is the one behind me, from Colors of Praise Needlepoint. She was unveiled at last Autumn Needlepoint Reunion and I can’t wait to see what they bring this year! No, I don’t plan on stitching her at this time, she is just art as she is!

This will be my third market to attend- have any burning questions? I’d love to answer them!

We are so excited to get The Silk Snail canvases! As one of Houston’s newest designers, we fell in love with their work and knew it was perfect for Storyteller’s Thread. So guess what- let’s welcome one of the designers, Gabby in store on Tuesday with her designs!

As this collection with has been so popular, we will be releasing the canvases on Tuesday at 10 AM in store only. Because we have a very limited quantity, we are allowing each guest to get one canvas of this new collection each, and we are not allowing any holds or call-ins on this first day. After that, all will be available to purchase for in store pickup.

Our full order isn’t even in yet, and we will be getting more designs in the future along with a huge re-order. We will be getting more of everything, but we don’t know when. Thanks for being so understanding!
