Julia’s finishing classes last month were such a hit, people were already begging her to come back! The professional finisher Julia Navik of Julia is coming back to Storyteller’s Thread in November in time for Christmas finishing. She will be teaching round, irregular, and square ornaments, but there is one class we’ve seen nowhere else: a pillow finishing class!

This very small class will take your stitched canvas, up to 12x12”, and turn it into a pillow with a mitered inset and self welt. There is an option for an extra ruffle or gusset add on as well.

This will sell out so get your ticket now so that you have a spot! You can definitely stitch a pillow by then!

Our next two book clubs are ready to go- get ready, fantasy fans!

August 18th we are reading A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan, a historical fiction about a Victorian woman who catalogues the dragons in her world. How perfect is that for the shop?!

September 22nd is Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinneman, the LitRPG phenomenon that’s just as good as everyone says it is. It’s the best example of DnD in a book we’ve ever seen, it’s about a guy and his sassy cat battling monsters. If you don’t come IT WILL BE AN OUTRAGE!

You can pre-order the books through our site StorytellersThread.com for a 15% discount, but no matter how you get your books, we’d love to have you. Stitching while we book club is not required but strongly encouraged 😉 Pickup only, limited quantities
