It’s been brought to my attention that our access to the I Heart Spring Hill group has been revoked. No reason, no violations.
That’s totally fine, but let’s keep it consistent.
If we are not allowed to participate, reply, or even see posts or tags…of our business,
then conversations, comments, or discussions about our business also should not be allowed there.
You can’t block someone from a community page and still allow their name, their business, or their content to be used for chatter that they can’t see or respond to.
That’s not a community page, that’s targeted moderation and a very personal bias.
And it’s disappointing of course, but not surprising.
I’m here to run a real functioning business built on excellence, transparency, and actual community impact.
I don’t operate in gossip circles, as a keyboard warrior, or behind closed doors.
So if you have something to say about Brunch Collective and anything we do you can say it directly to us. We’re right here, as always.
Take our name off your page then ’all!!
Peace & Love ✌️ ❤️
Update: a moderator claimed our comment essentially agreeing that Iheart Spring Hill is toxic is why we were blocked.
A post was made on their page about our restaurant and we were tagged….a positive one and the only reason we were even in that thread. Then the “anonymous posters” (as usual) started getting rude. Other people, not us, began asking why the moderators allow that kind of toxicity towards a business.
Someone commented, “this page needs to go away,”
and all we said was “yea it does.”
That’s literally it.
So if “yea it does” is the crime… maybe take a second to ask why so many people keep saying this page isn’t acting like the community resource it claims to be.
In case the word community slipped your mind, it means:
a group of people supporting and helping each other…..not tearing each other down in some sanctuary for anonymous trolls.
And just to be clear this isn’t the first time. Or even the tenth.
It’s a pattern. And if you know me at all, you know I am not the one for “drama.” So it isn’t that for me. Im not a “victim” I dont want pity for being picked on…
I’m just not going to sit here and watch the same small-business bullying happen over and over while everyone shrugs.
Someone has to say it.
Love y’all honestly ♥️ I do
