The 5th Annual Christmas Card Design Contest is now open through Easter Sunday, April 5.

Christmas Spirit is year ’round at the Christmas Spirit Foundation, and this is your chance to show what that spirit means to you in a one-sided Christmas card design. Winning designs may be printed as CSF Christmas cards to share your vision far and wide.

🏆 Prizes in each age category:

▪️ 2nd: $200 Amazon E-gift card

Records are meant to be broken… and together, you just made Trees for Troops history. 🎉🎄

In 2025, more than 340 farms and garden centers in 26 states came together with FedEx, volunteers, sponsors, and donors to deliver 21,117 fresh Christmas trees to 94 military bases across six branches of service. That is a brand-new single year record for Trees for Troops.

Since 2005, this community has now provided 347,390 free Christmas trees to service members and their families. That is 347,390 living rooms that smelled like Christmas. 347,390 reminders that their sacrifice is seen and appreciated.

To every grower, retailer, base team, volunteer, FedEx driver, sponsor, and donor who made 2025 possible – thank you. You turned gratitude into something you can see, touch, and decorate.

🌲♻️ Don't let your real tree go to waste! Many local villages and forest preserves offer tree recycling programs where your tree can be turned into mulch for local trails or used for fish habitats in lakes.

Check with your local municipality for pick-up dates! It’s the perfect way to give your tree a second life. 🌎💚

Now that the big day has passed, don't forget to keep that reservoir full! A thirsty tree is a grumpy tree. 💧

𝗣𝗿𝗼-𝗧𝗶𝗽: If your tree is still drinking a lot of water, it’s staying fresh and safe. Keep it away from heat vents to help it last all the way through New Year’s!
