Join us tomorrow morning for coffee and donuts as we sit among seasoned beekeepers to chat about all things beekeeping. This is a place to ask questions, share concerns, and learn about beekeeping. It is a laid back, fun gathering for all levels of beekeepers (especially brand new ones!). And while you are there, be sure to check out all the beekeeping equipment and products in the store.

This is located in Pennine Gardens inside the second building on the right. Look for The Hive sign.

Jonathan will be deliver products tomorrow to the Rhea County Beekeepers Association meeting. If you want any items delivered there, give him a call 423-365-5300 (option 2)!

About the meeting: Join us on Tuesday, June 9th, 6pm-8:30 pm, for our monthly Rhea County Beekeepers Association meeting. We will meet at the Rhea County Fairgrounds, 334 Eagle Lane, Evensville, TN. We are in the building just past the barn.

We have a fantastic program lined up where we will be sharing tips on SURVIVING SUMMER! Moderator Ron Kness will lead the discussion to include tips on honey robbing, preventing bees from robbing, how and when to treat, how to build comb during dearth, and so much more! Greg Gentry and Lee Rogers, the President and Regional Vice President for Tennessee Beekeepers Association will be visiting our club and sitting on the panel. They will also give a short overview of upcoming events with TBA, and share about the organization's goals and success stories. Master Beekeepers and RCBA members Rick Sharpe and Tracy Melton will also be sitting on this panel of experts. Bring all your questions and be ready for a fun night of thought provoking discussion and what will no doubt also have some comedy mixed in!

We will have a potluck dinner, so bring something to share.

We will gather at 6:00 for fellowship and food and then the meeting will start around 6:30pm.

Also, if you have any door prizes you wish to bring, please give them to Rick or Tracy at check in.

If you are in need of any equipment/beekeeping supplies/sugar, please give Jonathan Jouben a call at THE HIVE (423-365-5300) and he can deliver it to our Tuesday meeting.

Also, if you haven’t grabbed a RCBA t-shirt, we will have those available at the meeting, proceeds support the club.

If you are new to beekeeping or interested in getting involved, please come check us out.
