We hope you continue to enjoy and participate in music at a time when we need it the most. To our community, thank you for shopping local and for your support of Amend Music Center. Greetings music community friends!

We intend to stay open for the time being (though it's always a good idea to call ahead for the latest). Many folks are finding it a good time to bring instruments in for cleaning/repairs.

We'd also like to suggest playing music as a great and uplifting way to take advantage of some downtime.

When you come by for extra music supplies, be sure to stop by our next-door neighbor, Rocket Bakery, for some takeout goodies for the family. Supporting each other with kindness and cleanliness.

Trumpeter Larry Jess has been finding ‘the sound’ for 50 years with the Spokane Symphony

Check out this awesome article featuring our great friend and amazing trumpeter, Larry Jess! He's been the longest standing instructor at the south hill location, and we are lucky to have him.

When musician Larry Jess gathers his trumpet, it’s like a meeting between old friends – inseparable as the day is long, but still excited to make the acquaintance. Similar to a handshake, Jess works his way into it: first, by finding a tune through just the mouth piece. Then, with half of the in...

Did you know?

Our friend Robert, a professional sax player, recently asked what we would recommend to completely clean out an old saxophone.

We recommended putting it through our Ultrasonic cleaning system, and found out he didn't know we had one!! He said "You should advertise that, because I looked all over on line and could not find any repair shop with an Ultrasonic cleaning system this side of Washington state!"

So here you have it! Yes, we have been cleaning instruments with our Ultrasonic cleaning system for over 10 years. We also continue to offer the traditional Chemical Clean process, whenever this is what is needed or recommended.

Thanks for asking, Robert!!
