My new cozy spot 😍 I hope everyone is staying safe and warm right now, I know the weather across the US has been crazy lately. Tell me, what are you currently reading?

I'm currently reading my book club pick for the month: The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon and it's got me invested from the very beginning! It's been awhile since I read a historical fiction so this is a nice change of pace. πŸ™‚

2026 started off right with a 5⭐ read! If you are a fan of unreliable narrators, dramatic housewives and unhinged inner dialogue, then I highly recommend Best Offer Wins. I was both shocked and laughing as I devoured this book.

I also love the bright colors and had to match it to some of my favorite drinks ❀️🩷

From chapter one you can already tell that the main character is UNHINGED and I know this book is going to be a wild ride πŸ˜‚

As the holidays come to a close, I can genuinely say that 2025 has really been a wild ride! In this past year I have traveled more than ever before, tried several new hobbies and enjoyed lots of quality time with the people I love.

That being said... I read less than I have in the last several years. And I'm totally ok with that. I was more picky about what books I chose to read and I still thoroughly enjoyed the creativity that bookstagram brings to my life.

Reading goal for 2025 was 52 books and I actually read 34... But I don't feel like I failed and that's growth! 😊
