You haven't heard much from us lately because as a whole, the staff and shelter have reached their breaking point. These bouts of parvo have taken their toll. Mentally we are done. Financially, we are in need.
You can't imagine how hard it is to lose pups and dogs over and over that we've cared for. We feel like we just can't get a break.
Due to last winter's parvo out breaks and the one we are having right now, we are financially in dire straights. As of today, with another positive parvo case, we won't be able to do adoptions for another two weeks.
We operate mainly on our income from adoptions and without that, we fear we won't be able to operate very much longer.
It's sad to think of how hard everyone's worked to make this shelter something and now, our days are numbered.
We don't want to close. There are too many animals to that need us and we're asking for help to stay open. If you would like to donate or share this post to help us, we would greatly appreciate it.
We've started a GoFundMe campaign too.
