Some quick notes for those fishing the Big Kandi Shootout on Saturday the 18th

-Boats MUST BE checked in for inspections by 5:30am at Big Kandi Park East boat access. Teams may park at Kandi Park West and boat over to the docking area at Park East for inspection.
-Tournament will run from 6am-1pm.
-Takeoff will be in the form of a circle start.
-Starting positions will be determined by your team number (random draw). At 5:40am boats need to start forming a large clock-wise circle following the starting flag boat. Keep this circle moving to help get everyone lined up. At 6:00am the flag boat will wave off boat #1, then boat #2, and so on.
-Angler MUST wear an approved floatation device anytime the boat is up on plane.
-14” minimum walleye length. No more than 2 over 20” (3 fish limit)
-No more than 3 walleyes are allowed in the live well at any time. Culling is permitted.
-Teams will receive a clothes pin at inspection. This pin MUST be returned to shore and clipped to the scoreboard at Kandi Park East by 1:00pm. If your team pin is not on the scoreboard by 1:00pm you WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, NO EXCEPTIONS. So, plan accordingly.
-Any weather-related info (delays) will be posted on our West Central Walleye League page.
-The Big Kandi Lake Association STRONGLY ENCOURAGES that all the walleyes scored in this tournament are safely released back into the lake for future generations.
