For our small enterprise, run by my wife Julie and I, these are meaningful milestones of the progress of the Instrument Lab.

In my 38 plus years as a repair technician, I've found that the best advertising is a satisfied client. The only advertising we do is word-of-mouth and the very much appreciated likes, follows and recommendations we receive from our clients on our page.

To all of our clients that have kindly given us a shout out, liked and followed us, thank you! We hope to see you again soon.

What an incredible week!

The 2nd annual WVU School of Music's
Summer Brass and Woodwind Maintenance and Repair Workshop concluded yesterday after a full 40 hour week of group and one-on-one instruction in the maintenance and repair of flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, F horns and low brass.

The band directors in attendance now have a new skill set and the required tools to help maintain and repair their school's instruments, all while saving their band's budgets money.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Alyssa, Mark, Josh, Cory and Andrew.

I'm looking forward to teaching the workshop again next year!

Wow! Day three of five completed at the WVU School of Music's Summer Brass and Woodwind Maintenance and Repair Workshop!

We've covered flutes, clarinets and half of the saxophone module. General preventative maintenance, woodwind key fitting, pad replacement and seating, tenon cork replacement amongst many repair tips and specialized techniques. We will complete the sax module tomorrow morning and move on to piston valve instruments and trombones tomorrow.

Grateful for the attentive, inquisitive and wonderful band directors that are in attendance!
