This year we are getting in full swing with our wash station:
Mon.-Tues. our bather washes, Wed. our groomer is here, and Thurs.-Sat. it is self-wash. No appointment for self-wash, however, you must call and get an appointment for the groomer or bather. We stagger our appointments so the dogs do not have to spend too much time in the crate.
We are also starting, as of January 1st, the bones reward system. When your dog comes in to see the groomer or bather, your dog will be rated on how he/she does (no biting, sits wells, etc). Your dog could receive up to five bones (like stars on a kid's chart).
We keep a record of them and after accumulating 20 bones, you will receive a $5.00 discount in the store (food, flea meds/meds not included). You can use it on treats, beds, toys, collars, leashes, or your next groom/bath appointment. HOWEVER, if your dog gets a broken bone, it will remove a good bone from the tally (has to be something bad to get that broken bone).
We believe in rewarding such wonderful behavior and it will be fun to see who gets the most and how often!
