🎉 WHO WOULD BE UP FOR A GAME OF BINGO?! 🎉

Hear me out… I’m thinking this could be a really fun, interactive way to spend a Saturday! You could do it with your kids, your friends, your girlfriends—or just make a day of it yourself!

I’d make up Bingo cards with spaces featuring other local businesses here in town. You’d visit each business and get their signature on your card.

Get a straight, diagonal, or full board and earn points! The more businesses you visit, the more points you collect. And if you actually purchase something at one of the businesses, you’ll earn extra points! 🙌

Then you bring your card back to Dapples & Dun, I’ll tally up your points, and your name goes into a drawing to WIN something! 🎁

Honestly… for so many reasons!

Come to Sparta on a Saturday and make a morning of it. ☕️ Start with coffee at one of our great local coffee shops, B3cafeofficial or Franklin Coffeehouse then take a stroll through the Sparta Wisconsin Farmers Market from 9 AM–1 PM.

You’ll find tons of amazing vendors, homemade goods, baked goods, and as more produce comes into season, plenty of fresh goodies too! 🥖🍓🥕 There’s always something new to discover.

And don’t forget to take a walk along the Sparta Creekway. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to slow down and enjoy your morning.

Grab your coffee, grab your girlfriend, mom, sister—or come solo—and enjoy a Saturday morning in Sparta.

After the farmers market, spend some time shopping downtown!

💎 🌙 Crystal Eclipse — If you love crystals, rocks, beautiful formations, jewelry, and unique finds, you’ll definitely want to check them out.

🐈‍⬛🍦🍨 LilithMoon — Another great stop for home décor, clothing, and some seriously delicious ice cream. Trust me… the ice cream is SO good! 🍦

✌🏽🌏 Keps— A Sparta staple and a great place to find jewelry, gifts, and some fun clothing options.

🍞🌻The Enchanted Vale—A newer shop on the street! She’s always posting goodies like sourdough bread and other fun finds, so make sure you stop in and see what she has in store. You never know what goodies you might find!

There are so many other great places to stop, but this post is already getting way too long! I know I’m going to miss some amazing businesses, so please don’t take that the wrong way. I’m truly grateful for every business and every person who makes our little town so special. ❤️

The story behind Dapples and Dun 🤎

Dapples and Dun is inspired by my everyday life, and a friend recently told me, “People might want to see the other side of you. Who are you when you’re not the lady behind the desk?”

So… here’s a little glimpse. 🤎

I’m a mom to an amazing son, Conner. I also own and run my own massage business, where I’ve been a massage therapist for 16 years. I still massage full-time, which is also why my hours at Dapples and Dun are a little limited.

And when I’m not at the boutique or working on my massage clients, you’ll usually find me somewhere around the farm, with my horses and animals, getting my hands dirty, doing chores, or just living this crazy little life I love.

Dapples and Dun really is a reflection of all of that. It’s not just clothes and shopping—it’s a little piece of my everyday life, the things I love, and the kind of lifestyle I actually live.

So if you’re interested in seeing more of the real-life me behind the boutique, let me know. Maybe I’ll start sharing a little more of what happens when I’m not behind that desk. Plus who doesn’t love to see horses and mini donekys🖤🌵✌🏽

Hi! I wanted to introduce myself since we’ve had so many new followers lately.

I’m Sarah, the owner of Dapples and Dun, a small boutique in Sparta, Wisconsin.

A lot of people ask where the name Dapples and Dun came from. It’s actually inspired by my two mares—a dapple palomino and a bay dun. Horses have always been a huge part of my life, so it only felt right to have my boutique reflect that part of me.

While we’re considered a western boutique, I’d say we’re more of a casual Midwest boutique with just a little country mixed in. You definitely don’t have to be western to shop here! My goal is to have styles that fit everyday life in our small towns, whether you’re heading to work, grabbing coffee with friends, going to a concert, or just running errands.

Inside the boutique, you’ll find a little bit of everything—lots of denim, graphic tees, trucker hats, western-inspired purses, jewelry, and fun extras like handmade soaps, linen sprays, perfume rollers, and other great gifts.

If there’s one thing I’m known for, it’s helping women find great-fitting denim, the perfect graphic tee, and a trucker hat to pull it all together. That’s my go-to look most days, and I love helping other women find outfits that make them feel confident.

Whether you’ve been following along since day one or you’re brand new here, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope you’ll stop in and say hi if you’re ever in Sparta. I can’t wait to get to know you all!
