Staring down a pile of unpainted grey plastic can be intimidating, but here is a secret: miniature painting isn't that complicated. You donβt need years of art school to get your models looking fantastic on the tabletop. You just need a few foundational steps.
Whether you are looking to paint your very first miniature or just want to build your confidence with a brush, this class is designed to break down the hobby into simple, stress-free basics. We will take a model from totally unpainted to "Table Ready" in a single session.
What We Will Cover:
The Right Tools: An introduction to hobby materials, selecting the right brushes, and keeping your gear in top shape.
Brush Control & Application: Learn how to thin your paints properly and get smooth, even coats without clogging details.
Basic Composition: Understanding contrast, shadows, and simple highlights to make your models pop from three feet away.
The Golden Rule of this Class:
Painting is an art, and tabletop wargaming is a hobby. That means there is no "right way" or "wrong way" to do this. The best way to paint is the way you enjoy, using the techniques you like. I am here to show you the fundamentals, but you are completely free to experiment and make the model your own!
