Just tossing this out there ... to my customers, family, friends, and ... For many people, this is a minute by minute reality, myself included. The pain is real, the "fog" is real ... yep ... how many have heard me stop mid sentence, and shrug my shoulders laughing off the embarrassment of being incapable of recalling ... anything π£
Fibromyalgia is often brutal in ways you can't understand without experiencing it. You won't hear me whine, or complain ... I don't like to use Fibro as an excuse, unless the flare-up is so harsh, that I can't function.
I've lived with this for the better part of about 50 years. I was (supposedly) only the second person in the US to be "granted" disability for it. Since that time, they have found a couple of pharmaceuticals to ease many symptoms. The one I take is no miracle drug, but it did allow me to get back on my feet and moving. I'm grateful for that.
Over the years Fibro has caused me to develop many accompanying issues (that I won't bother going in to), the worst, in many ways, has been Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. There are only two prescription pain killers I'm not allergic to (dilaudid and fentanyl) which I won't take! So, I self medicate herbally (π) day and night, so that I can function with relative normalcy. Judge me if you will, I do not care.
Anyway ...
