🚨 Backflow Prevention Failure Caught in Action! 🚨
Just performed a routine backflow test and this is what we found...
Our test gauge shows the relief valve cracking open at under 2 PSI differential.
A properly functioning RPZ backflow assembly should hold a minimum 2 PSI differential or more to keep contaminated water from backflowing into the clean drinking supply. When it opens this low, the assembly is not doing its job.

This is exactly why annual testing and certification matters. A failed backflow preventer puts your property — and your community’s water supply — at risk.
