Just today, I choose to release worry and fear. Just today, I honor all living things. Just today, I am grateful! I created this song and the video months and months ago, and then got in my own way and never shared it. Chloe was still alive, and very mobile. We found a beautiful place for a stroll leading to a breathtaking waterfall. As we were walking, I began to hear a song manifesting in my heart. As we got close to the waterfall, the song got louder and louder in my heart. I kept thinking to myself, “but I can’t sing”. When we arrived at the waterfall, all of the sudden, immense gratitude took over, and I found myself singing to the jungle, to the animals, to the water, and to all those who came before me. I felt the presence of many ancients gathering as I sang. I felt the jungle saying thank you right back to me. It was then that I realized it wasn’t about my lack of technical skill. It was about the jungle speaking to my heart, connecting with all that is, and letting the love spill out through my voice. I’ve passed this place a few times since it was created, and I still hear the song echoing through the falls. Now, with Chloe gone, I’ve been reviewing old videos and this one kept surfacing. As I listened to it over again, the same overwhelming feeling of love and gratitude washed over me. Today, as it popped up again, I distinctly heard in my heart that the song was given to me to share. Not to collect dust. I teach a lot about using your voice…no matter what it sounds like. So today, I’m listening to that inner voice and the invitation to share mine. Again, it is definitely not perfect. It is however, directly from my soul to yours. My intention is that it connects you to love, gratitude, and all living things. Three of the many affirmations I say each morning and night from the Reiki teachings are, just today, I choose to release worry and fear. Just today, I honor all living, and just today, I am grateful. This video, and being brave enough to post it, seems to embody those three things 💯. So here I am…And here it is…
