Most people would call this a calming stone.
I'm not sure that's what it is.
This midnight amethyst carries lithium inclusions drifting through its depths like pale currents moving beneath dark water.
And while the modern crystal world often associates lithium with peace, what this stone evokes feels older than relaxation.
Stillness.
Not the stillness of absence.
The stillness of incubation.
The stillness of a temple before the doors open.
Of a question asked sincerely and left unanswered.
Of the long pause between invocation and revelation.
Amethyst has long been associated with mystery, dreams, and altered states of awareness.
The lithium moves through that darkness like a hidden current.
Not forcing answers.
Not demanding action.
Simply reminding us that transformation is often occurring long before it becomes visible.
Some stones feel like messages.
This one feels like the chamber where the message is waiting to be born.
