Our first day in New York was a hoot. Meandering MoMA was cool. My return to Quimby's was hella fun. Several Arizona and parts elsewhere friends made the scene, which made it a real blast. No broccoli, but plenty of pizza

Now available in a limited edition of 7 shirts! Yes, that's right only 7. This 100% cotton SMITTY the PIED PIPER T-Shirt is the old Toxic Ranch Records mascot design. Artwork on front is by Jim Blanchard. Back of shirt has the Pied Piper design from an old government anti-drug propaganda. Based on the true crime figure Charles "Smitty" Schmid, (1942-1975) who was called the "Pied Piper" because he was charismatic and had many friends in Tucson's teenaged community. He predated Charles Manson as the first Rock n Roll serial killer. For a time, the members of his teenage coterie would keep the secrets of his murders. He spent part of his time on Tucson's Speedway Boulevard, picking up girls and drinking with friends, although he tended to be a loner. Schmid was a short man who wore cowboy boots stuffed with newspapers and flattened cans to make him appear taller; he explained to impressionable teenagers his resultant rolling gait was a result of a "crippling fight" with Mafia members. He used lip balm, pancake makeup and created an artificial mole on his cheek. Schmid hated the Beatles, so he stretched his lower lip with a clothespin to make it resemble Elvis Presley's. Order while they last!
