Long's Board Shop

Long's Board Shop Skateboards X Snowboards X Apparel X Shoes Manifesto: All boarders are brothers (and sisters). Where we felt we had to prove we were good enough to be there.

We have all found ourselves - at one time or another - at a store, party, skate-spot where we felt we were being judged. Long’s Board Shop is not one of those places. LBS is a family skate shop, run by a family for the skate family. The family home to the community’s skateboard and snowboard needs. Holding true to the independence and self expression of skateboarding and snowboarding this is a pla

ce for skaters, boarders, and their families. Whether you are coming in for your first board set-up or are just replacing a cracked king-pin all entering our doors are welcome. No judgment, just the dream of a 4th grade skate punk.

In addition to the upcoming jam supporting the South Portland Skate Park there is an auction of skateboard decks painted by local artists going on. Here's your chance to get some great art, including graphics by well known local skate-artists Eric Santos and Daniel Delogu!

Artists and skatepark enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds have come together to celebrate and support our city's soon-to-be-completed skatepark. They have used their talents, visions, and creativity to paint these decks in support of our city's vision of a skatepark that will bring us all togeth...

When I first started fighting for local skateparks I never would have thought I'd be spending a weekend watching skateboarding in the Olympics.

On that new stage, I still saw what makes skateboarding great: the skaters hyped each other up, cheered each other on, and several continued to push and finally land that trick, even after the run was over and time was up - because skating is really about pushing ourselves to do the best we can.

South Portland is at about $400,000 of their $500,000 goal. Let's seize this historical moment, spread the word (and this link: https://www.4giving.com/donation/29AE), and give whatever you can to get this local park skate-able by next year. This is the final push, let's land this one!
